The purpose of the NYSSMA Manual is for music teachers to use it as a guide in the preparation of their students for NYSSMA solo and ensemble festivals. The Manual also includes all of the Rules and Regulations as well as scale and sight-reading requirements for all NYSSMA-sanctioned evaluation festivals. Each list is broken down into six levels of difficulty.
